WALLS THEY'LL ACTUALLY NOTICE
Creating Spaces Students Connect With.
School murals can do much more than brighten a blank wall.
Street Art Concepts creates original artwork designed around the school, students and surrounding community — transforming everyday spaces into colourful environments that can inspire creativity, encourage belonging and make the school grounds feel uniquely their own.
WHERE CAN WE CREATE?
From the Classroom to the Court.
There are plenty of opportunities to introduce artwork throughout a school, including:
- Playground and recreational areas
- Basketball and sports courts
- Classroom and building exteriors
- Libraries and learning spaces
- Undercover areas
- Hallways and shared spaces
- Entry and reception areas
- Retaining walls and boundary walls
- Early learning and childcare environments
Have an awkward or uninspiring space you’re not sure what to do with?

ART WITH SOMETHING TO SAY
Learning, Identity & Imagination.
Every school is different, so every mural should be too.
Artwork can be developed around school values, local environments, native flora and fauna, sport, culture, learning, imagination or the identity of the school community.
For younger students, that might mean colourful characters, animals and imaginative worlds.
For secondary schools, we can take the artwork in a more contemporary direction with bold graphics, street-art influences, typography and sophisticated illustrative concepts.
The aim is to create something students are excited to have in their space.
STUDENT & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Give Students a Connection to the Artwork.
Where appropriate, students and the wider school community can help contribute ideas and inspiration to the creative process.
Themes, stories and concepts gathered through consultation can then be interpreted into a cohesive professional artwork by Drule Art.
It creates something more meaningful than simply arriving and painting a wall — students can see a little of their own school reflected in the finished piece.

we’ve got the answers
Can you create murals for primary and secondary schools?
Yes. Artwork can be developed specifically for the age group, from colourful and imaginative primary school environments through to more sophisticated contemporary artwork for secondary schools.
Can the mural incorporate our school values?

Can students contribute ideas?
Yes. Where appropriate, student ideas can form part of the creative development process while the final design is brought together professionally.
Can you create outdoor school murals?
Yes. Exterior walls and outdoor recreational areas can provide fantastic mural opportunities. We'll consider the surface, location and environmental exposure when planning the project.
Can murals be completed during school holidays?
Depending on availability and the scope of the project, school holiday periods can be an ideal opportunity for installation. Talk to us early if you have particular dates in mind.
