Bringing Some Colour to a Country Fire Station

Street Art Concepts was recently hired to transform the Rural Fire Station shed in Toogoolawah, a great little Queensland town with plenty of local character.

The project gave Dan (Drule Art) the opportunity to take a functional community building and turn it into something with a little more personality — creating original artwork that gives the station a stronger visual presence within the town.

Projects like this are always special. Rural fire stations are an important part of regional communities, supported by people who give their time to help protect the places they call home.

A great project, a great little town and a pleasure to be invited to leave some art behind.

Thanks for having us, Toogoolawah.
